Terms of Service

1. The service

Marketwise (“we”) provides AI-generated marketing analysis reports based on public web data and the website URL you submit. Reports are research aids, not professional consulting advice. You are responsible for verifying facts and figures before acting on them.

2. Your account

You need an account to run analyses. You are responsible for activity under your account and for providing a website URL you have the right to have analyzed. Don't use the service to crawl or probe sites you don't control with malicious intent.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Payments, taxes and invoices are handled by Polar (merchant of record). You can cancel any time — access continues until the end of the paid period. Failed analyses never count against your quota. Refunds for the current period are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support.

4. Acceptable use

Don't resell reports as your own consulting work without disclosure, don't attempt to overload the service, and don't use reports to make legal, financial or investment decisions.

5. AI-generated output

Reports are generated by AI systems from public web data and may contain inaccuracies. Market estimates carry confidence levels and citations; technical checks are deterministic. We combine both, but ultimate judgment stays with you.

6. Liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding a claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes take effect means acceptance.
